Start of a New Semester with KPMG

Shawna Heinz, KPMG campus recruiter

Today marks the beginning of the Accounting Association’s (AA) first of many technical meetings for the Spring 2018 semester. Along with introducing the new executives and directors, we had the pleasure of having KPMG present. We here

at AA are incredibly proud of all the services we have worked on for you this semester.

Our meeting today was packed with aspiring accountants. While the room was filled with students getting acquainted with one another, there was an air of camaraderie present as everyone prepared for yet another semester of academic and recruiting success. KPMG’s presentation on interviews was relevant not only for the students who are applying for Summer Leadership Programs (SLPs) this semester but for students who will be applying for internships and full time position in the near future. This m

eeting was also a great opportunity to meet Shawna Heinz, KPMG campus recruiter and touch base with Stuart Fried, Director at the EY Center for Careers in Accounting and Information Systems- who prompted students to gear up for this semester’s recruiting process.

If for some reason you weren’t able to make it to our first meeting, don’t worry. As always, we will have technical meetings every Monday and every other Wednesday. As far as meeting Shawna, we’ve got you

covered. We will be hosting the Big 4 Recruiter Panel on January 29, 2018 at 5pm (later today). So please, come in with questions to ask as the recruiters present will be participating in a Q/A.

Thank you so much for students who came to our first meeting. We really appreciate it when you get involved! Feel free to reach out to any of us if you have questions or just want to chat.
