Accounting Association
The California State University, Northridge’s Accounting Association is a student driven organization. Its mission is to help students develop professional skills and build relationships essential to launching a successful accounting career. In order to fulfill this mission, the Accounting Association:

Promotes the benefits of joining the association to current and potential accounting students.

Encourages accounting students to be involved in the association.

Presents students with more information about the accounting profession and the skills needed to become successful.

Provides students the opportunities to become acquainted with potential employers.

Fosters collaboration and camaraderie between members.

Monday Meetings
Our Monday Meetings are held every week of the semester (except for holidays after the Membership Drive) and are a great way to learn about the Accounting profession from firm members who come to speak!
Wednesday Meetings
Our Wednesday Meetings are held every other week of the semester (except for holidays after the Membership Drive) and are a great way to learn about the Accounting profession from firm members who come to speak!
Alumni Event
The Alumni Event Directors attend Alumni meetings regularly on Tuesdays and organize an Alumni Event (Bowling, Karaoke, etc.) where students are able to Network and have Fun socializing with Alumni!
Charitable Events
The Directors of Charitable Events organize event(s) that allow our members to give back to the community, and we are always looking for more ideas.
Financial Services
Financial Services Directors prepare Accounting Association t-shirts or sweaters each semester for our members.
Historians
Historians attend our events and take pictures, which are put on this Website and the Semester's Newsletter. They also ut together a scrapbook at the end of the semester highlighting the semester's great moments and events.
Videography
The Directors of Videography capture video of our various events and conduct interviews with our members, students, and alumni to be put on our website for our visitors to enjoy.
Membership
Membership Directors organize the Membership Drive every semester, and anyone who wants to join will have the opportunity to meet our directors in person when they sign up!
Publicity & Communications
Publicity & Communications Directors put together our Accounting Association Newsletter every semester and send it out to Pre-Accounting students, Accounting students, professors, firm members, and recent alumni!
Social
Social Directors work with BAY & MISA organizing enormous events such as Meet the Firms and the Awards Banquet. Students who attend are able to Network with professionals.
Special Events & Tours
Special Events & Tours Directors schedule firm tours with various firms.
Student Activities
Student Activies Directors organize our Annual sports teams tournaments played with students and firm members. In the Fall semester, we hold an Annual Basketball tournament, and in the Spring semester, we hold an Annual Softball tournament. Anyone is welcome to attend!
Student Development
Directors of Student Development organize our Resume and Mock Interview Workshops, which help those who attend to develop their professional and interviewing skills. Professionals from various accounting firms, companies, and government agencies attend this event to meet and help students learn and grow.
Web Development
The Web Development Director(s) update this website regularly and constantly find ways to make communication between students and the Accounting Association easier.
